  • 2 cups clam juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • Step 1: Heat salt pork in stock pot.

  • Step 2: Add onions and season lightly.

  • Step 3: Cook until translucent

  • Step 5: Simmer for 90 minutes.

  • Step 6: Add clams and season to taste.

  • Step 7: Simmer 30 minutes more.
