Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound hot dogs, bun-length (8 sausages)
  • 1 pound hot dog buns (8 buns)
  • 14 ounces chili, without beans (1 can)
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat chili in microwave safe container for about 3-4 minutes (or according to your microwave directions).

  • Step 2: Simmer hot dogs in pan of water until heated through. (You can grill them if you prefer)

  • Step 3: Place two buns on each plate and open them to be ready for the dogs!

  • Step 4: Put a heated dog into each bun, top with several tablespoons of chili and a sprinkle of chopped onion.

  • Step 5: For an extra blast of flavor, add shredded cheddar. (I usually don't.)
