Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, uncooked
  • 8 ounces kielbasa or other sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces green beans, cut, frozen, thawed (1 package)
  • 1 tablespoons butter margarine, added at end of recipe
  • Salt, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (sprinkle)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook noodles according to package directions, meanwhile -

  • Step 2: Heat butter in a skillet, saute onions and green peppers until onions are translucent. Add garlic and sauté for another minute - don't burn garlic!

  • Step 3: Add slices of sausage, pepper, oregano, Italian seasoning and green beans. Stir together. Heat together on medium-low heat.

  • Step 4: Drain noodles and add to sausage mixture, stir in the extra butter if necessary.

  • Step 5: Taste for salt and adjust if necessary.

  • Step 6: Serve with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese.
