  • 1/2 pound pork sausage, bulk
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 10 ounces tomato soup (1 can)
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring lima beans to a boil in cold water.

  • Step 2: Let stand 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Brown sausage with chopped onion.

  • Step 4: Drain grease as needed.

  • Step 5: Drain beans, saving liquid.

  • Step 6: Put drained beans, sausage, tomato soup, barbecue sauce and sugar in a Pam sprayed 1 quart casserole dish.

  • Step 7: Add enough saved liquid to cover beans.

  • Step 8: Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour until thickened and bubbly but not dry.
