  • 1 jalapeno or serrano chile, halved, seed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 3 scallions (white and light green parts only), sliced
  • 2-3 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
