The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, strained (fresh orange juice with the rinds reserved)
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
  • 8 shots espresso, hot (2 ounces each)
  • 6 ounces Spanish brandy
  • 3 tablespoons turbinado sugar
  • 1 coffee bean

How to Make

  • Step 1: In the bowl of an electric mixer on medium speed, whisk together the cream, juice and confectioners sugar until soft peaks form.

  • Step 2: In a 1 pint (2 cup) measuring cups combine the espresso, brandy and turbinado sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Divide mixture among martini glasses.

  • Step 3: Dollop the orange whipped cream on top and then zest the reserved orange rinds and the coffee bean over the cream.

  • Step 4: Serve immediately.
