The ingredients are:
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup (Karo)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecans, chopped fine, can use one cup
  • 9 ounces unbaked pie shell (1 shell)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all together and pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. (Go in order given with electric mixer)

  • Step 2: Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees.

  • Step 3: Reduce heat to 325 degrees and cook for 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
