Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled
  • 200 grams tuna, canned, drained and flaked
  • 100 grams ricotta cheese
  • 20 grams capers, rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons basil, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, zest grated
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 25 grams butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Rocket, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Shell and chop the eggs. Push the eggs, tuna and ricotta through a sieve into a bowl.

  • Step 2: Stir in the capers, basil, lemon zest, lemon juice and butter and season to taste with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into balls and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

  • Step 3: Just before serving, arrange a bed of rocket on a platter and place the tuna bites on top.
