Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 bunches dutch baby carrots, washed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 5 sage leaves
  • 40 grams butter, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 200°C

  • Step 2: Trim the carrot tops, leaving 1-2cm of stem on each carrot; peel the carrots and slice any larger carrots in half lengthwise so that they will be roughly the same size

  • Step 3: Place the carrots in a large baking dish, and toss with the olive oil, honey, garlic and sage; season with salt and pepper

  • Step 4: Transfer the carrots to the oven for 25-30 minutes or until they have caramelized.

  • Step 5: Remove from the oven, and toss the carrots through the butter.

  • Step 6: Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
