Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 ground beef (round)
  • 1/4 pound pork sausage
  • 2 ounces white bread, shredded fine (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white onion, diced
  • Topping
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 cup brown gravy, hot
  • 6 ounces sliced mushrooms (1 can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put milk, mushroom juice that you have drained from canned mushrooms and raw egg and mixed over bread crumbs to soak them for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Add in rest of ingredients and mix with hands and form into loaf.

  • Step 3: Seasoning to taste.

  • Step 4: Brush ketchup over and let set 1/2 hour.

  • Step 5: Bake 350 degrees around 1-1/2 hours until done.

  • Step 6: Pour over hot brown gravy over cut slices.
