  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 16 ounces corn, undrained (1 can)
  • 16 ounces tomatoes, diced (1 can)
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 12 ounces dry macaroni (1 box)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 3 quart Dutch oven, crumble hamburger and finely diced onion and pepper.

  • Step 2: Season lightly.

  • Step 3: Fry until brown, stirring frequently; drain if needed.

  • Step 4: Add the corn, tomatoes and broth.

  • Step 5: Bring to a hard boil add noodles, boil 12 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.
