  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely-chopped
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels (1 package)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and water until creamy; beat in egg.

  • Step 2: Sift and mix in flour, baking soda, salt.

  • Step 3: Add walnuts.

  • Step 4: Spread in greased 13x9x2 inch pan.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle chocolate morsels over top of dough.

  • Step 6: Bake at 375 degrees for one minute. (Until melty)

  • Step 7: Remove from oven.

  • Step 8: Run knife through dough to marbleize.

  • Step 9: Return to oven and continue to bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes more.

  • Step 10: Cool.

  • Step 11: Cut in 2-inch squares.
