Step 1: Preheat oven to 350-degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Heat oil in a medium saucepan. Add apple, onions, garlic and the next 3 ingredients (coriander - lemon pepper seasoning); mix with wooden spoon. Cook, uncovered, 2 - 3 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cool 30 minutes.
Step 3: Separate each can of crescent rolls into 4 squares for each can. Seal perforations with fingers. Place 1/4 cup of the apple mixture in center of each square. Moisten edges of pastry with a little water. Fold dough over apple mixture to make a triangle.
Step 4: Press edges with tines of fork to seal. Place turnovers on greased baking sheets. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Bake for 11 - 13 minutes or until golden.
