Step 1: Brown meat in large skillet.
Step 2: Add onions and cook over medium heat until onions are clear and tender.
Step 3: Stir in seasonings, tomatoes, soup, rice and half of olives.
Step 4: Simmer covered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Remove bay leaf
Step 6: Spoon into a baking dish and lattice with cheese strips.
Step 7: Broil until cheese is melted and decorate with remaining olive slices.
