  • 15 ounces mild chili beans, crushed (1 can)
  • 7 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the ground chuck and onions in skillet and pour off excess grease.

  • Step 2: Add tomato paste and chili powder.

  • Step 3: Stir in flour and brown sugar.

  • Step 4: Combine tomatoes and chili beans.

  • Step 5: Place all ingredients into a 2 quart cooking pot (or crockpot) adding the salt to taste.

  • Step 6: Cook over low heat for at least 2 hours.
