  • 1 (546ml) can re-fried beans
  • 1 (250 g) pkg cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (24 g) envelope of taco seasoning
  • 2 (113 ml) cans of green chilies (you can use the same amount of salsa sauce instead)
  • 250 grams of grated cheddar cheese or more to taste
  • 2 green onions, white and green parts, finely sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning; set aside.

  • Step 2: Drain any liquid from the can of re-fried beans and spread it on a large pie plate.

  • Step 3: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the re-fried beans.

  • Step 4: Drain the canned green chilies in a mesh sieve and lightly spread evenly over the cream cheese layer.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle the cheese over the chilies and garnish with the sliced green onions.
