Step 1: Bring a pot of lightly salted water to boil.
Step 2: Sprinkle turmeric over the water and stir in orzo.
Step 3: Return to boil and cook until cooked through but still al dente, and drain.
Step 4: Heat skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
Step 5: Cook the garlic in the hot oil for a few seconds until it starts to bubble.
Step 6: Add the kale and stir for a few seconds.
Step 7: Add the chicken broth and continue cooking until leaves are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
Step 8: When chicken broth has reduced, remove from heat and add the orzo, lemon juice, nutmeg, parmesan and salt and pepper to taste.
Step 9: Serve at once, warm or at room temperature.
