Step 1: Beat eggs and blend in melted butter, flour, vanilla, salt, sugar and syrup.
Step 2: Sprinkle nuts over bottom of unbaked pastry shell.
Step 3: Now gently pour over syrup [the syrup mixture] and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Reduce the heat to slow (325 degrees) and bake about 40 minutes.
