Step 1: Get spices ready.
Step 2: Brown meat in oil and add in salt & pepper, and onions.
Step 3: Add garlic at the end.
Step 4: Stir in tomato paste, stir it in for a minute or so, then add the other spices.
Step 5: Add water and cook until beef if tender about 1 hour.
Step 6: Add potatoes adding water as needed.
Step 7: Cover and cook on med/high heat until potatoes are almost cooked 20 minutes.
Step 8: Add in frozen peas, and more water; bring back to a boil for about 10 minutes or so (until it gets thick again).
