Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces dry macaroni (1 1/2 cups)
  • 6 cups water boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Soup
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 5 stalks celery, sliced
  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes (1 can)
  • 10 ounces tomato soup (1 can)
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon (they had 3)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 ounces heavy cream (1 1/2 cups

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute onions, celery and ground beef.

  • Step 2: Add rest of soup ingredients except cream.

  • Step 3: Simmer 30 minutes.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile, cook macaroni in heavily salted boiling water until al dente and drain.

  • Step 5: Add drained macaroni to soup at end.

  • Step 6: Add heavy cream, don't boil, simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Step 7: Season to taste.
