  • 5 ounces albacore tuna
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced celery
  • 1 tablespoon minced green olives, (optional) (about 5 small olives or so)
  • 1-2 teaspoon sweet relish
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (light or regular)
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices favorite bread
  • 2 lettuce leaves, to cover bread

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except bread and lettuce.

  • Step 2: Adjust seasonings if needed.

  • Step 3: Spread half of tuna mixture on each of two slices of bread.

  • Step 4: Cover with a lettuce leaf (or leaves depending on how large they are) and top with remaining bread.
