Step 1: Melt butter in large saucepan and add onion, season lightly and cook until tender.
Step 2: Add chopped celery and potatoes, and barely cover with water.
Step 3: Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Step 4: Then simmer 20 minutes until vegetables are soft.
Step 5: Add milk and chopped eggs; season with salt and pepper to taste. (I'm using celery salt and lemon pepper, you do you).
Step 6: Simmer until hot
Step 7: Serve.
