Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 cups celery, chopped
  • 15 ounces potatoes, diced, undrained (1 can)
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups milk
  • Topping
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in large saucepan and add onion, season lightly and cook until tender.

  • Step 2: Add chopped celery and potatoes, and barely cover with water.

  • Step 3: Bring to a boil and reduce heat.

  • Step 4: Then simmer 20 minutes until vegetables are soft.

  • Step 5: Add milk and chopped eggs; season with salt and pepper to taste. (I'm using celery salt and lemon pepper, you do you).

  • Step 6: Simmer until hot

  • Step 7: Serve.
