  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon anise seeds
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Spaghetti
  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti
  • 6 cups water boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add mushrooms to boiling water.

  • Step 2: Fry onions in olive oil.

  • Step 3: Add garlic and tomato paste.

  • Step 5: Add mushrooms with water and rest of ingredients.

  • Step 6: Set on low.

  • Step 7: When ready, cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, and drain.

  • Step 8: Add pasta to spaghetti sauce, and top with Parmesan cheese.
