Step 1: Cook turnips in heavily salted boiling water until cooked.

Step 3: Heat half and half.
Step 4: Season lightly.
Step 5: Whisk in pinches of butter mixture until thickened, don't boil.
Step 6: When turnips are done, drain and add to cream sauce.
Step 7: Season to taste.
