Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground lean pork
  • 8 cups Alfredo sauce, homemade or jar
  • 1 1/2 pounds lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook noodles. Drain, and set aside.

  • Step 2: Saute meat in a large non-stick pot, until cooked through.

  • Step 3: Add Alfredo Sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: Preheat oven to 375.

  • Step 5: In a well buttered casserole dish, alternate layers of meat sauce, noodles, Ricotta and cream, ending with a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese, and a light dusting of nutmeg.

  • Step 6: Bake for 45 minutes, or until bubbly around the edges.

  • Step 7: Let set 15 minutes before cutting to serve.

  • Step 8: Salt and pepper, to taste.
