Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (16 ounce) cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (I use 2 teaspoons)
  • 1/4 cup water, cold
  • 2 packages (3 ounce) raspberry gelatin
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or splenda)
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare pan by lining 7x11 pan with foil and buttering. soften gelatin by stiring into cold water.

  • Step 2: Heat cranberry sauce over medium heat- stir in raspberry gelatin and softened gelatin and then sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and candy comes to a boil.

  • Step 3: Stir occasionaly for 10-12 minutes. Add nuts.

  • Step 4: Pour into prepared pan and let stand 24 hours.

  • Step 5: Cut candy in small squares roll in sugar and powder sugar mix and set to dry for 2-3 days on a wire cookie drying rack. Reroll in more sugar if desired.
