  • 12 ounces green beans or haricots verts, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet over medium high heat cook the bacon until done; remove bacon from pan with a slotted spoon and let bacon drain on paper towels.

  • Step 2: Stir beans into the drippings in pan; toss and then saute for a few minutes.

  • Step 3: Stir in water and cover pan and cook for a few minutes or until crisp tender; sprinkle with bacon and pepper.
