Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Pasta
  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Salad
  • 1 pound cooked turkey breast, julienned
  • 1/4 pound green onion
  • 1/4 pound carrot, julienned, lightly steamed
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted to taste
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce, to taste (lite)
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/8 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente.

  • Step 2: Drain and cool pasta.

  • Step 3: Combine the cooled cooked pasta, turkey, green onions, carrots and sesame seeds in a large bowl.

  • Step 4: In a sauce pan, combine the soy sauce, (lite), oil, vinegar, peanut butter, sugar, ginger and red pepper flakes.

  • Step 5: Heat the mixture until just about to boil, stirring to make sure the peanut butter is completely melted.

  • Step 6: Cool.

  • Step 7: Pour the cooled dressing over the salad and toss well to combine, taste for seasoning and chill or serve at room temperature.

  • Step 8: Garnish with sliced green onions if desired.
