Ingredients

  • 3 pounds broccoli florets, (8 cups )
  • 8 ounces cooked bacon, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup diced red onion, diced
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, cranberries, sunflower seeds and red & green onion.

  • Step 2: Toss to combine.

  • Step 3: Set aside.

  • Step 4: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, onion powder, cider vinegar, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

  • Step 5: Add the dressing to the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.

  • Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

  • Step 7: Stir the salad and season to taste with salt and black pepper before serving.
