Step 1: In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, cranberries, sunflower seeds and red & green onion.
Step 2: Toss to combine.
Step 3: Set aside.
Step 4: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, onion powder, cider vinegar, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Step 5: Add the dressing to the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.
Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Step 7: Stir the salad and season to taste with salt and black pepper before serving.
