Step 1: Heat an electric panini grill according to manufacturers directions.
Step 2: Slice asparagus to fit the bread. Place one slice bread on a work surface. Top with half of the mozzarella and then the asparagus; season with pepper. Top with the prosciutto slices and add the rest of the mozzarella; cover with the remaining bread slice; brush both sides with olive oil.
Step 3: Place on grill and close the lid; cook until golden brown and cheese melts; cut in half and serve.
