Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Marinade
  • 4 pounds beef roast
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Crockpot
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Marinate beef in Ziploc bag overnight.

  • Step 2: Next day season the beef.

  • Step 3: Heat butter and marinade juice.

  • Step 4: Brown beef on all sides

  • Step 5: Put in Pam sprayed crockpot.

  • Step 6: Brown onions and at the last minute add garlic.

  • Step 7: Put in crockpot.

  • Step 8: Add wine to deglaze pan.

  • Step 9: Add to crockpot with juice.

  • Step 10: Turn crockpot on high cook 8 hours adding water as needed.
