Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 pears, skin on, cut into eighths
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 400 grams vanilla yoghurt (natural if you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons natural flaked almonds, toasted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the honey and water in a small roasting pan; add the pears, raisins and cinnamon.

  • Step 2: Cover pan tightly with foil and roast at 200°C for 20 minutes.

  • Step 3: Remove the foil and turn the pears and roast again , uncovered, make sure to bast pears with syrup during cooking and cook for a further 10 minutes or until pears are caramelized and tender, .

  • Step 4: Spoon the yoghurt into serving bowls, top with warm pears and sprinkle almonds.
