Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 pounds potatoes, cubed (red potatoes, peeled and cooked then cubed)
  • 8 eggs, chopped (hard-cooked, peeled)
  • 1/2 pound ham (cooked cubed deli ham, I just purchase a block of ham then chop it, you can use whatever amount you like))
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (finely cubed)
  • Onion, chopped (red onion, amount to your taste or use whites of green onions)
  • 3 dill pickles, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • FOR DRESSING
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (garlic lover's can use more!)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper, or to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl combine the potatoes, eggs, ham, cheese, onion and pickles.

  • Step 2: For the dressing; in a small bowl combine the sour cream, mayonnaise and mustard garlic, seasoned salt and pepper; pour over the potato mixture and toss to coat. Season with more salt and pepper if needed then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving
