  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 15 ounces tomatoes, diced (1 can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon
  • 12 ounces frozen mixed vegetables (1 package)
  • 1 pound potatoes, cubed, peeled
  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon bacon grease

How to Make

  • Step 1: Coat beef with seasoned flour and brown in skillet in bacon grease.

  • Step 2: Place browned meat and vegetables in bottom of crockpot and sprinkle with pepper to taste, they like spicy.

  • Step 3: Pour BBQ and Worcestershire sauce over meat and veggies.

  • Step 4: Add broth, tomatoes and bouillon last.

  • Step 5: Cook on low for 8 hours.
