Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek or chili garlic sauce, or more to taste (or omit if desired)
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons warm water

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients.

  • Step 2: Serve immediately or store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

  • Step 3: Allow to come to room temperature before serving.

  • Step 4: If it is still very thick, whisk in 1/2 teaspoon or so of warm water until the sauce comes to a creamy consistency.
