Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • CHICKEN RAMEN
  • 8 ounces boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion Sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florettes
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup carrots, jullienned
  • 9 ounces ramen noodles (2 or 3 - 3 ounce packages)
  • 1 1/2 cups water (might need more)
  • 1/4 cup green onion, cut up (to serve)
  • RAMEN STIR FRY SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon light brown sugar or white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or any red hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: STIR-FRY SAUCE:

  • Step 2: Add all the ingredients mentioned under the sauce, in a jar or a mixing bowl. Set aside.

  • Step 3: THE CHICKEN RAMEN:

  • Step 4: Heat oil. Add sliced onion. Cook until the onion starts to soften. Add garlic.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile, cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, add to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on high heat.

  • Step 6: Add the stir-fry sauce that you set aside, followed by bell pepper, broccoli florettes and carrot.

  • Step 7: Mix everything well. Let it cook till vegetables are crispy (about 3 minutes).

  • Step 8: When the sauce starts to thicken up, add water and ramen blocks.

  • Step 9: Let it cook for a couple of minutes.

  • Step 10: Then flip the ramen and break up bigger chunks.

  • Step 11: Cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Step 12: Garnish with green onions to serve.
