Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Step 3: Add the tomatoes, basil and oregano and toss to mix.
Step 4: Mix the milk, olive oil and egg in a medium bowl.
Step 5: Add to the flour mixture stirring just until moistened.
Step 6: Spoon half the batter into nonstick muffin cups.
Step 7: Top each with 1 cheese cube.
Step 8: Cover with the remaining batter.
Step 9: Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until the muffins test done.
Step 10: Let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 11: Serve warm.
