Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup dry quinoa, rinsed
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1/2 cup oat milk, warmed (or any milk)
  • 4 ounce gala apple (1 small )
  • 2 tablespoons pecans, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the quinoa, water, cinnamon and vanilla in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until quinoa can be fluffed with a fork.

  • Step 2: Stir in the applesauce, raisins, and the warmed milk. Divide between two bowls.

  • Step 3: Top with the diced apples and the pecans. Sprinkle with some cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.
