Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 pounds (6 medium) gala apples
  • 1.5 ounces raisins, (small lunchbox-size box)
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Crispy Oat Topping
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350F

  • Step 2: Peel and cut the apples into 1/4 inch thick slices and place them in a large bowl.

  • Step 3: Add the raisins, cinnamon, honey and lemon juice. Toss to coat all the infredients. Pour into an ungreased 8x8 baking dish.

  • Step 4: Cover dish with foil. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.

  • Step 5: In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over the fruit. Bake for 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown. Keep an eye on it at 35 minutes, making sure it doesn't get too brown.
