Step 1: In sauce pan, mix grapefruit juice, water and sugar.
Step 2: Bring to a boil.
Step 3: Mix the slurry.
Step 4: Pour into boiling juice mixture.
Step 5: Mix egg yolks and temper into juice a little at a time, whisking constantly until thickened.
Step 6: Pour into baked pie shell.
Step 7: Cool slightly.
Step 8: Cover with meringue that you have made by beating salt and egg whites stiff adding sugar gradually.
Step 9: Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes until meringue is golden brown.
