  • 2 3/4 cups cornmeal
  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Wet
  • 12 ounces sour cream,( 1 1/2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk dry ingredients cornmeal, flour, baking powder salt.

  • Step 3: Add wet ingredients, sour cream, milk, eggs, and melted butter.

  • Step 4: Bake in a greased loaf pan (bread pan) for 25 minutes until golden brown when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
