Step 1: Over high heat bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add green beans, cooking for 3-5 minutes or until crisp tender; drain and oil under running water.
Step 2: In a bowl combine the beans with the cherry tomatoes.
Step 3: In a small cup or bowl whisk together the olive oil, vinegar and shallots. Stir in the olives, thyme, salt and pepper.
Step 4: Toss the green beans with the dressing.
