  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces light cream (1 1/2 cups half and half )
  • 9 ounce pie crust, unbaked, (1 - 9 inch )

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Spoon the pumpkin, can be canned, brown sugar, white sugar and molasses into a bowl and blend ingredients thoroughly.

  • Step 3: Beat in the eggs.

  • Step 4: Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cream.

  • Step 5: Blend ingredients thoroughly.

  • Step 6: Pour the mixture into the crust.

  • Step 7: Bake for 8 minutes.

  • Step 8: Reduce the heat to 325 degrees F and continue baking for 55-60 minutes or until set. (When a knife inserted comes out clean)
