  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 7 ounces dry instant rice, (1 1/4 cups)
  • 10 ounces French onion soup (1 can)
  • 1 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter and add onions and peppers.

  • Step 2: Season lightly.

  • Step 3: Saute until translucent.

  • Step 4: Add ground beef cook until just browned.

  • Step 5: Add chili powder and soup rinsing out cans with water.

  • Step 6: Bring to a boil covered.

  • Step 7: Add rice and cover.

  • Step 8: Turn off heat wait 6 minutes until uncovering and fluffing.

  • Step 9: Season to taste.
