  • 28 ounces spaghetti sauce (1 can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Garnish
  • 2 ounces fresh grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat olive oil in large stockpot.

  • Step 2: Brown onion and ground beef.

  • Step 3: Add garlic and tomato paste.

  • Step 5: Add the rest of the ingredients (season to taste) and simmer for 1 hour.

  • Step 6: Careful not to burn add more water as needed.
