Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons dry onion flakes
  • 2 ounces spaghetti sauce mix (2 packages)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 56 ounces crushed tomatoes (2 - 28 ounce cans)
  • 6 ounces tomato paste (1 can)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces American cheese, sliced
  • 1 pound dry spaghetti

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef.

  • Step 2: Break up with potato masher and add tomato paste.

  • Step 3: Brown.

  • Step 4: Add onions, spaghetti sauce mix, pepper, oregano and garlic.

  • Step 5: Stir in tomatoes that you've mashed with hands, water, beef bouillon, Worcestershire, sugar and salt.

  • Step 6: Bring to a boil.

  • Step 7: Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes.

  • Step 8: Meanwhile, cook spaghetti.

  • Step 9: Drain, but do not rinse.

  • Step 10: Stir cheese into sauce to melt, then stir in spaghetti.

  • Step 11: Transfer pasta and sauce to a baking pan and cover with foil.

  • Step 12: Place in a 225 degree oven for 1 hour.
