Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime peel
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 3 pounds flap steak

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients except steak in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Place steak in a large ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze out air and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 6 hours.

  • Step 3: Preheat grill to high.

  • Step 4: Bring steak from refrigerator and let sit for 30 minutes to come u in temperature.

  • Step 5: Remove steak from bag and grill about 4-6 minutes per side.

  • Step 6: Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Slice thinly against the grain and serve.
