Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 (2 1/2 pound) salmon fillet -- ( I like Atlantic salmon)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir the brown sugar, butter, garlic and honey until melted. Remove from the heat; whisk in the oil, mustard, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Cool until almost room temperature.

  • Step 2: Place salmon in a large foil-lined baking pan; spoon brown sugar mixture over salmon then turn the salmon to coat in the mixture (place salmon skin-side down).

  • Step 3: Bake uncovered (bottom rack) at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
