  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 28 ounces tomatoes, crushed (1 can)
  • 15 ounces spaghetti sauce (1 jar)
  • 2 ounces dry spaghetti, broken in quarters
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups beef broth

How to Make

  • Step 1: In stockpot brown beef, bell pepper and onions.

  • Step 2: Add carrots, celery and garlic.

  • Step 3: Add everything else.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.
