Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Puree
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 5 cups vegetable stock
  • 8 ounces carrots, sliced
  • Creamed
  • 1 pound salmon filets, chunked
  • 8 ounces heavy cream, (1 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the onions until translucent.

  • Step 2: Add turmeric and paprika.

  • Step 3: Add broth and carrots.

  • Step 4: And simmer 40 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add chunks of the salmon and cook covered until salmon is cooked.

  • Step 6: Remove salmon.

  • Step 7: And use the immersion blender and blend until smooth.

  • Step 8: Add cream, salt, pepper and allspice to taste.

  • Step 9: Add salmon back in.

  • Step 10: Don't boil just simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Step 11: Season to taste.
